Making Informed Decisions

I can't believe some people who make informed, calculated decisions about their business in every area EXCEPT what the do with their website. Most of these decisions are driven by marketing or the fear of not being on board. I come across people who are paying hundreds of dollars per month for online advertising but have no idea how many people it brings to their website.

I use Google Analytics to monitor and improve every one of my sites. Google Analytics is a reporting tool that tells me what pages are being visited and where those visitors are coming from. But that is just scratching the surface. Using other statistics like bounce rate, time spent on site, number of pages viewed and more I can tell you what needs to be changed or improved AND WHY.

By far the best benefit of this reporting is being able to see what you are getting for any money you spend on SEO or SEM (see Number One On Google). Has there been any change in the site's performance after commencing or ceasing a Google Adwords campaign? Where did the traffic come from while the campaign was running? What were the Google searches people used to find you. Yes, you read correctly, these reports let you know what people typed into Google to find you!

I make this report available to you and you will be able to log in at any time to see what is going on. I regularly check these reports and will meet with you around 2 months after the site goes "live" and then at least every 12 months to do a health check and make sure your website is always working for both of us.
